- Accumulator
- A single bet that links multiple selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Asian Handicap
- A point handicap that splits the bet across two lines, removing the draw as a possible outcome.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting.
- Bet Builder
- An online tool that lets you combine several markets from the same match into one wager.
- BTTS
- Abbreviation for "Both Teams to Score", a market where you bet on whether each side will score.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet for a reduced payout before the event finishes.
- Correct Score
- A bet that requires predicting the exact final score of a match.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible match outcomes in one wager.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that is refunded if the match ends in a draw, otherwise it follows the result.
- Edge
- The perceived advantage you think you have over the bookmaker’s odds.
- First Goalscorer
- A betting market that focuses on which player will score the first goal in the game.
- Free Bet
- A promotional token the bookmaker gives that can be used to place a bet without risking your own money.
- In-Play
- Betting on a match while the game is still ongoing.
- Juice
- The commission or fee that the bookmaker adds into the odds, also called the "vig".
- Lay
- To bet against a particular outcome happening.
- Margin
- The built‑in profit percentage the bookmaker ensures regardless of the result.
- Odds
- The numerical representation of the potential payout relative to your stake.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether a specific statistic, such as total goals, will be above or below a set line.
- Push
- A result where the bet is declared void and the stake is returned because the outcome exactly matches the line.
- Roll‑over
- A wagering requirement that any bonus funds must be turned over a set number of times before withdrawal.
- Stake
- The amount of money you place on a bet.
- Value Bet
- A wager where the odds offered appear higher than the true probability of the event.
- Void
- A cancelled bet where the stake is refunded, often because a match is postponed or a rule is breached.
